B.  S Corporation Filings for Your New Iowa Corporation 

1.   Federal S-Corporation Election Form

This form will provide you with a State Tax ID Number and   determine your state tax obligations with the Department of Revenue and Finance. If you have questions about the form, contact your tax advisor or the Department of Revenue and Finance at 800-367-3388.
 
2.          Biannual Reports
 
Your business entity will be required to file a biannual report every other calendar year with the Secretary of State.
 
The reports are due between January 1st and April 1st of the first even-numbered year following the calendar year in which your entity was formed.
 
The Secretary of State will send you official notice to your address on the Articles.
