You should download the Alabama Department of Revenue Combined Application at  http://www.ador.state.al.us/taxpayerassist/com-101ff.pdf  to determine what, if any, state taxes or other fees you will be required to pay.

If you have questions about any state taxes or fees your corporation or LLC may owe based on the information in the Department of Revenue General Summary of Taxes, call the Alabama Department of Revenue at 334-242-1170 or log on to its website at www.ador.state.al.us

More information concerning the Alabama Business Privilege Tax and Corporate Shares Tax Act of 1999 may be

obtained through the department’s Web site at www.ador.state.al.us or by contacting the following offices: Individual and Corporate Tax Division at (334)242-9800, for business privilege tax information; Property Tax Division at (334)242-1525, for corporate shares tax information.

D.  Get Information on Amending your Articles of Incorporation (Organization), changing your Registered Agent or Dissolving your Corporation or LLC

Most states provide forms to amend your Articles of Incorporation (Articles of Organization), which would include a change of Registered Agent and/or registered office (e.g., if your address changes, you’ll need to amend your Articles of Incorporation (Articles of Organization) and file the amendment with the state).  Also, if you need to dissolve your corporation or LLC, most Secretary of State’s offices have forms available.

To learn more about amending your Articles in Alabama, call the Secretary of State’s office at 334-242-5324 or visit the website at www.sos.state.al.us.  A small filing fee is usually required for amending your Articles.

Surely, the list above is not everything you will need to do once you incorporate a business in Alabama. You should always check with your accountant or attorney in order to make sure you are compliant with all state laws.
