B.  Get Your New Jersey Tax ID Number and Or Other State Required Documentation
 
Have your Federal Tax ID Number (EIN) handy; most states require it on their state tax ID number forms and other forms that you may need to complete after you incorporate a business in New Jersey.
 
1.         State Business Registration
 
Within 60 days of incorporating or forming your new company, the Business Registration form must be filed. You can file online at https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/revenue/dcr/reg/sos_dcrnew01.prod.htm
 
2.         New Hire Reporting Form

3.         State Tax

4.         Annual Reports
 
Your entity will have to file an annual report in the month in which your corporation was formed (e.g. if your entity was formed in April 2004, you will need to file your annual report by the end of April 2005).
